Ross' Refrain
We're 3 rehearsals away from our first "church gig," where we sing will sing 3 songs at a Unitarian Church service. This will happen on the morning of Sunday, 11/8, and the 3 songs we will sing are:
"Friendship Round"
"Wakati Wa Amani"
"Ose Shalom"
With this in mind, start looking at these pieces with the goal of feeling comfortable and confident singing them in the next couple rehearsals. Please put 11/8, ~9:30-12:00 on your calendar, and make every effort to be there; the more members singing, the better we will sound!

Numbers
We’re pleased to have reached our goal of 50 members for the semester! Thank you for your prompt payment and for understanding the need that we had to raise the fee to $60. Very special thanks to those who provided additional support through contributions.
The cost to provide this great VOICES experience is just short of $6,000 per semester. About 60% now is covered. Fingers crossed for success with grants and a strong concert response to balance our books.

The Voices Newsletter is sent out every Thursday during the semester. Sometimes, it may be a day late depending on glitches and brain cramps. In normal times, it will appear in your email in-basket sometime during the day on Thursday. It will also be posted on the website - click HERE to go to that page.
