Broad undergraduate programs ranked No. 1 in supply chain for 13 years, among top 25 overall

U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Colleges rankings, released Monday, place the Broad College’s undergraduate programs at No. 12 among public institutions and No. 1 in the supply chain specialty. Several other subject-area specialties also came in with top ranks.

Chrysler donates van for MSU Safe Ride program
|
Broad alumna and Chrysler brand CEO Christine Feuell (B.A. Marketing ’85) presented a 2023 Pacifica all-wheel drive minivan with two Calm Cabin packages, which include seat belt covers and weighted blankets to help riders with autism feel safer and more comfortable. The new ride will help keep MSU students safer at night.

Linda Hubbard (B.A. Accounting ’82), president and chief operating officer of Carhartt Inc., will be the featured executive speaker at the 2023 Warrington Lecture. Hubbard will join Interim Dean Judith Whipple in a “fireside chat” and Q&A session on Oct. 12.

The rise of the Student-Made marketplace at MSU
|
The Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation launched its partnership with custom online marketplace Student-Made on Aug. 27. This collaboration creates an avenue for Spartan venturers with retail products to begin selling their wares at scale. Jewelry, desserts, ceramics, stickers, and plushies are already available for sale, with more on the way. Patrons can also find student-owned apps, photography businesses and beauty services.
