Armchair Adventurer 2018
Dear Friend of PST,
Portland Story Theater presents Lawrence Howard in Polar OppositesLove Antarctica? Love adventure stories? Love Lawrence Howard? Don't miss your chance to hear Polar Opposites. This is a story of the heroic and tragic events that played out on the frozen continent of Antarctica over one hundred years ago, as Roald Amundsen and Robert Falcon Scott vied for primacy at the South Pole. Howard is a "captivating yet disarming raconteur" and this two-hour production takes place at The Old Church Concert Hall this Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 8 pm. There will be live jazz with Portland Story Theater’s house band, Tonight’s Special, when the doors open at 7:00 pm. The story starts at 8 pm. Young adults are welcome provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
