2024 Ethics Olympiads

Dear Colleagues,
The Ethics Olympiad is dedicated to nurturing young people’s curiosity, critical thinking, and desire to explore big questions. We provide a unique opportunity for students to engage respectfully and collectively about relevant ethical cases while engaging with students and philosophers around the world. As one of our students recently told us, “There has never been an experience or a greater tool that has made me believe not only that I can be a better person but that I can challenge the world to be better.”
Looking ahead, the International final of the Middle School Ethics Olympiad is in February, and the Senior Ethics Olympiad final in July this year. Both are set to be our largest events yet. Organizers and competitors already gearing up for the challenge. In 2024 we will be offering annual regional events for all year levels, online training clinics, and various ethics-related initiatives for educators, such as a case writing competition and hosting licenses to allow schools to run their own internal Ethics Olympiads. Schools can also join the Ethics Olympiad as a member school, which provides the school various benefits such as discount on all activities and access to teaching and training resources for schools. The website offers a great way to explore these benefits and apply for membership.
As we begin the new year, we ask that you consider sharing this message with your networks and communities. It is our consistent goal to provide this kind of opportunity to students everywhere. Your support helps us realize this mission. We hope you’ll continue to support us as we look ahead to a bright 2024.
