 Here comes the debut EP of Alfa Matrix's new signing from Melbourne, Australia: AVARICE IN AUDIO, a project driven by modern production techniques with melancholic lyrics and operatic/ethereal vocals. At the helm of AVARICE IN AUDIO is Gerry Hawkins (Cryogenic Echelon) and Jade Pegg (Acidtrixx), both taking dual duty on vocals, while Gerry almost entirely penned the lyrics. With a quite eclectic songwriting approach and the highly skilled production supervision of Jade and Lawrie of STUDIO-X, AVARICE IN AUDIO deliver a melodic fusion of Synthpop & EDM, taking two different genres and forging them in one beautiful and unapologetic package that crosses many boundaries with male and female vocals.

 UK Hardcore/Breakbeat artist/DJ Simon Carter's first encounter with the EBM/industrial scene made him want to launch a new project and break some more music boundaries. He found in Australia's Lawrie Masson (from the trance dance act STUDIO-X) the right partner in crime to come up with something different and cutting-edge. On their debut album "Breaking The Void", the duo serves us an assortment of electro tracks fusing together many elements to create a journey through many different styles and influences, with only two main tenets. Firstly, every track is dancefloor friendly and secondly, each track contains an original vocal…
So strap yourselves in and enjoy this enlightening journey through sound from the hard dance epic techno of "Frozen" to the orchestral and almost obsessive "The End (FromAfar)" and its PENDULUM d&b touch.  SCHWARZBLUT (full name: Die goetheanistische TonkunstgesellschaftSchwarzblut) is a Gesamstkunstwerk. A collective work of art, based on historic German poetry and carried by organic-electronic music. SCHWARZBLUT’s work is outlined by a haunting visual context of imagery in their album artwork and during live shows. Each SCHWARZBLUT release is a group effort, including the arts of composing, poetry, fashion, photography, video and design. Each SCHWARZBLUT live show too is a performance featuring these ingredients.
The group was founded in 2007 and signed with Alfa Matrix in 2009.Through Alfa Matrix the band released the EP 'Sehlenwolf' (2009), their debut album 'Das Mausoleum' (2010) and their sophomore full-length release ’Maschinenwesen’ (2012). Early 2014 SCHWARZBLUT returned to the scene with the 5-track EP ‘Bis aufs Blut’. Now the band releases their 3rd full-length album ‘Gebeyn aller Verdammten’, an upbeat album full of raw synths combined with film score-like orchestrations. “For the world is Hell, and men are on one hand the tormented souls and on the other the devils in it.” - Arthur Schopenhauer, taken from the song ‘Judas’.
These words define SCHWARZBLUT’s new album ‘Gebeyn allerVerdammten’ (Eng: Bones of the damned). On this 3rd album the band amplifies man’s eternal enticement to sin and wickedness. Each song gives the listener a view on one of the ‘Peccatum mortiferum’ (Eng: cardinal sins). The album includes texts by 17th, 18th and 19th century poets and philosophers such as Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860), Friedrich Theodor Vischer (1807-1887) and Moritz Graf von Strachwitz (1822-1847). Despite being their most up-tempo album ever, ‘Gebeyn aller Verdammten’ features the band’s most prominent classical arrangements to date.
Kapellmeister Carsten Altena gave every song a striking film score-like orchestration. From the beat driven cello of ‘Wer vom Ziel nicht Weiß’, to the Wagnerian horns of ‘Bisaufs Blut’, to the marching percussion of ‘Lied der Rache’.Every sin sounds as big as the other, with guest musicians providing cello and percussion to add to the lively feel of the music. The angelic voice of Angèlika and harsh vocals of Zeon prove an excellent duo in channeling the various emotions.
The album has a particular broad vocal variety, ranging from classical Latin chants on ‘Das Lob der Faulheit’ to grimly whispering on ‘Judas’ and even vocoded voices on ‘Bis aufs Blut’. With ‘Gebeyn aller Verdammten’ SCHWARZBLUT shows an interesting development in their songwriting, choice of lyrics and overall artistic performance. This album is by far their most profound and powerful album. With many tracks fit for the dancefloor, and for those into LAIBACH, BLUTENGEL, SKINNY PUPPY, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY and DAS ICH.

 Their recent strong 4-track EP "The Business" absolutely made us want to hear more from XMH's new chemistry of sounds! Well, they now throw their 4th studio release "In Your Face"! While opening songs like "The Business" and "Product" strongly confirm the Dutch band's characteristic aggrotech assaults of uptempo harsh elektro, this new album quickly reveals that XMH has reached the next level with a more mature and polished production work thanks also to the helping experienced pair of ears of producer Len Lemeire (IMPLANT, 32CRASH, UNTER NULL, DUNKELWERK, ANNE CLARK, etc.), but also with the intelligent addition of carrying refined virulent melodies reinforced by female backing vocals from Isa Garcia perfectly matching with Benjamin Samson's powerful growls. At one point I said "Life is unfair and love is a bitch" and that phrase somehow stuck with me... simply because it's just so true", says Diana about the dark lyrics of the title-song of this new EP…
While their "Bad Case Of Fabulous" album seems to have become one of the most talked about releases on Belgium's Alfa Matrix label last year, the German duo could not resist to the temptation of turning this successful and intense song and heartbreaking video clip (with famous director Fabio Soares) into a "Life Is Unfair (And Love Is A Bitch)" club invasion by arranging frontal dancefloor groovy remix collaborations with PSY'AVIAH and ESSENCE OF MIND while CANAL POP cared for an e-pop radio mix.
Always thirsty and hungry for more, the JUNKSISTA gang did not stop the sonic orgy there and lined-up some additional heavy upbeat reworks of "Fabulous" by Zulu DJ as well as by Gabor Gergacz, while Greek label mates VIRGINS O.R PIGEONS mutated "Sexpectations" into a carrying vibrating club tune. Another stunning EP from JUNKSISTA clearly aimed at the dancefloor this time and once again showing us that JUNKSISTA isn't afraid to combine elements that don't seem to fit together at first thought: the electronic beats, the synth sounds and the glam rock guitars do a perfect job at making you move your ass to these grooves…
