Quote
of the Week
“If
people are good only because they fear
punishment, and hope for reward, then we are
a sorry lot indeed.”
― Albert Einstein
President's

This month I have been giving
you some suggestions on how you
can structure your note business
so you’re focused on your niche
oriented specialized work (your
note business) AND able to stay
in a state of gratitude because
your note business is just so
darn cool nothing could get you
down.
My final suggestions on how to
structure your business so
you’re focused on your niche
oriented specialized work AND
able to stay in a state of
gratitude is to Include the
Concept of Gratitude and
Gratefulness in Your Company
Mission Statement.
As a note professional, whether
or not your company incorporates
being thankful into its mission,
do you feel appreciated? The
more you appreciate others the
more you will be appreciated
yourself; it’s a case of leading
by example. Don’t wait to be
grateful. Regardless of your
position in an organization,
cultivate gratitude as a core
part of your work. You may be
inclined to make sure those
around you and on your team
right now understand that you’re
grateful for the many ways they
help you each and every day. Be
humble. You need to be
grateful for the team that
powers the engine of your note
business. Similarly, as a team
member, recognize your role in
ensuring your team continues to
move forward. Be grateful for
everyone around you, and don’t
be shy about expressing
appreciation. Acknowledge
that your success depends on
others. Admitting that you
don’t know everything and that
everything you’ve ever learned
that’s made you successful has
come from someone or something
else helps improve your standing
in a team and will actually
propel you forward in your
career. Be sincere. In
many cases, being grateful can
be disarming. As a note
professional and team member,
when you are thankful and
express it – sincerely and
frequently – it will often make
people stop in their tracks.
Genuine gratitude is pretty
rare in today’s society, which
is a shame, but expressing real
gratitude sets people apart.
Demonstrating gratitude can help
set you apart from others in the
note industry.
Gratitude is the only lasting
motivator of change; it’s the
only thing that will propel you
to change in the future, if
you’re grateful for what you
have now. I hope that this
message reminds you how much you
can shape your own happiness by
making great choices and staying
in gratitude. In your personal
and professional life, I wish
you continued success, joy and
prosperity with an eye on
gratitude.
Remember,
Success
Demands Action! Keep on
marketing, it’s going to work!
TWITA!
Merry Christmas

Question of
the Week
Q
- Hi Jeff,
I have an LLC hat I created about 2 years ago as I was going to get started in
the real estate wholesaling business. I never did anything with it. Would you
recommend that I use this entity to conduct my note business or should I just go
by my own name? Also, should I have a separate business bank account for my
deals? Thanks!
~ Jackie
Hi Jackie!
Thanks for the email!
The note business
is a real business so if you already have a real estate related LLC it wouldn't
hurt to use it at all. Then once you start getting some transactions closed I
would definitely have a separate business bank account set up.
Hope this helps!
~ Jeff
