Bridges Breaks Down Barriers
Thank you everyone for making our debut of Bridges a complete success! And while the show was sold out and the storytellers received a standing ovation, what really mattered was people started sharing their personal stories about race, ethnicity, and culture. Our audience told us that they "loved it!," were "moved," and "were transformed by the experience." Lawrence Howard, Joy Young, and Lynne Duddy met last night with the tellers, Willie Welch, Donna Kelly, Paula Small, and Judith Mowry. It was a brilliant debrief. Everyone had experienced the strength and power of personal narrative ... beautiful, just beautiful. Plus, we started planning the next Bridges. If you are interested in telling your personal story about race, ethnicity, or culture, please visit our website, send us an email, or give us a call.

November 22nd and 23rd
This Solo Series evolved out of the five-year run of the Singlehandedly Festival. Like the festival, each feature-length story in the Solo Series displays the breadth of talent and the rich complexity of each individual performer as they bring their own personal experiences to the stage. "A life story is really the story of the soul of a person. |
