Dear friends and neighbors:
Regardless of your religious affiliation, it just feels like we should all be celebrating some sort of arrival this weekend whether warm weather, increased sunshine, or just another day surrounded by friends and family.

Two more Hoboken celebrations of sorts starting this weekend…

I saw this play yesterday and it was really fun – singing, comedy and plot twists!  Click for a preview. Good for kids 5+!  Brings to life a cat and dog and their family when a new household member arrives – a bunny!  And because it involves bunnies, of course, I begged MST’s director Chris O’Connor to let me be a part in some way!  So I am happy to get to sponsor my own discount code!  Use TIFFANIE (all caps) and get $10 off any ticket!  Shows continue through May 5th.  Click HERE or the pic below for tickets and enjoy!

PARKING METER’S RETURN TO NORMAL BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND!

At the council meeting this week, I sponsored a resolution that passed 7-1 to make the meter pricing / hours rollback be effective immediately upon passing (so Thursday), before the holiday weekend.  Although this was on the agenda since the Friday before and expected to pass, the City did not start the process until Thursday so the changes could not be made immediately.  I spoke to Parking and Transportation Director Sharp and asked that he prioritize Washington St. (where the pricing gap was the biggest - $3.60 vs $1. ) and he assured me his team is working quickly to make this hpen and they should all be effective by tomorrow!

From my real life, mixed-faith, Easter bunnies Lil and Jack (eating bitter herbs on Easter) and me, Happy Passover and Easter to all who celebrate!  And to everyone, have a safe and joyful weekend!

As always please forward this to everyone you think may be interested and feel free to reach out via email, text or phone (201-208-1674) about this or anything else important to you.
Best wishes,
