Publication Fetal Cell Count™ Kit
|
|
|
|
A new paper was published using our Fetal Cell Count Kit.
In this publication clinical performance of the Fetal Cell
Count™ Kit was evaluated by researchers of the University Medical Center
Groningen and the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. A total of 184 samples
of pregnant women were used in this study. The authors conclude that the
Fetal Cell Count™ Kit is a valuable flow cytometry method allowing for
clear discrimination and accurate quantification of fetal red blood cells
in maternal blood.

New anti-ESM-1 antibodies and ESM-1 Pregnostic®-PE
IIp ELISA Kit
|
|
|
|
This summer, we will launch new products related to endothelial
specific marker 1 (ESM-1).
ESM-1 (or endocan) is a biomarker of vascular endothelial
activation/dysfunction in diseases. The variation of blood levels of
ESM-1 may reflect endothelial dysfunction in several pathological
conditions, including sepsis, cancer, dengue fever, respiratory failure,
obesity, and preeclampsia. In a study, our R&D team has, in close cooperation
with the University Medical Centre Groningen, shown that plasma ESM-1
levels are decreased during pregnancy and increased in early- and
late-onset preeclampsia.
IQ Products now offers both an ELISA (Pregnostic®-PE
IIp) to measure ESM-1 levels in plasma or cell culture supernatants,

Due to the BREXIT and
the Swiss breakdowns in relations with the EU, IVD/CE products need to be
registered at The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in
the UK, and in both countries an authorized representative has been
appointed.
This means that our Fetal
Cell Count™ Kit, FMH QuikQuant™ and the HITAlert™ Kit are still
available for sale in both the United Kingdom and Switzerland!

Conferences
we will attend in 2023
|
|
|
|
On April 4th, we joined the VHL symposium De Witte
Bloedcel in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, and from the 12th-14th
of April we were present during the NVKC Voorjaarscongres in Papendal,
the Netherlands. It was good to see and talk to our customers during
these events. We are looking forward to meet you at the upcoming
conferences in 2023!
