President's Corner

       Callers are not always sellers.  This is a very important issue for note brokers to be aware of as note brokers may be overwhelmed from time to time by a high number of inquiring potential note sellers.  Be sure to be aware of that many of these possible callers (note holders) may not be viable candidates and, in fact, could be competitors snooping for information on your note business. Often times, people will call because they are interested in selling their note soon, but may not have an actual need to sell now.  To help eliminate these note holders from the candidate pool early, ask questions to qualify them. Finding out how long they've held the note, what they expect their note to be worth and how quickly they need the money will quickly tell you if the potential note seller is serious or just curious. By weeding these people out early, you will have more time to concentrate on quality note holders and in the end sellers.  Remember, Success Demands Action! Keep on marketing, it’s going to work! TWITA!
