Avishai Receives NADAV Foundation Award

The 2012 NADAV Peoplehood Award was presented on October 31 2012, to Professor Elie Wiesel and Avishai Cohen at a ceremony in Jerusalem with hundreds of participants in attendance. Professor Wiesel and Avishai received the award from businessman and philanthropist Leonid Nevzlin, Founder of the NADAV Foundation.

The NADAV Peoplehood Award, in its fourth consecutive year, is given to individuals and organizations in the Jewish world as a token of appreciation for their contribution in strengthening global Jewish identity, and deepening the connection between Jews around the world. To read more click HERE.

October Show Success

During October Avishai performed in Poland, England, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France and Germany. Every show was a great success and we thank each audience for their support and great reception.

The final show on 24th October in Essen, Germany, was particularly unique. Avishai performed the World Premiere of his newest project, ‘Avishai Cohen with Strings’. Well over one thousand people gathered at the beautiful Essen Philharmonie to experience a new presentation of Avishai’s music with trio, string quartet and oboe.
