Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index closed up 0.31% at 81,181 today.  The top performing sector of the day was Base Metals (+3.36%) with National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +12.78%) leading gainers. Paper Products (-1.38%) was the weakest sector. The highest trading volume was posted by the IT (-0.20%) sector with IRR 411 billion (approx. USD 11 million) of shares exchanged. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index included National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +12.78%), Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +2.82%) and Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ -4.90%). Behpardakht Mellat Co. (PRKT +5.00%) was the most actively traded stock by value with volume of IRR 280 billion (approx. USD 7.4 million). In total the market traded value fell 5% from yesterday to IRR 1,899 billion (approx. USD 50 million).

 

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed at 3,226, up 0.81% from yesterday. National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +12.78%) was the big­gest gainer among the top 30s, while Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ -4.90%) fell the most. The total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 252 billion (approx. USD 6.6 mil­lion), down 10% from the previous trading session.
