New Publication
R&D department on preeclampsia
|
|
|
|
Our R&D team identified 2 additional early pregnancy
biomarkers in preeclampsia patients.
This is the result of an untargeted biomarker discovery study
in which they observed proteins that were differently expressed in preeclampsia
patients. Nine proteins were found to be differently expressed in early
onset, preterm onset and preeclampsia at term. Two of these nine proteins
were not yet associated with preeclampsia in literature.
Differential expression of one of these two proteins, Apolipoprotein D, was
confirmed in both early and preterm onset preeclampsia in
the first trimester.
The outcomes of our study may open new areas of assessment in
the future to help determine womens’ risk of early onset preeclampsia. Click here to read the full publication.

On September 8-10 we joined the ISLH conference in Bologna as an exhibitor,
our first international conference since the pandemic. On 14 and 15
November we visited the MEDICA in Düsseldorf as well. It was so good to
meet some of our customers and distributors again during these events. We
are looking forward to meet you at the upcoming conferences in 2023!

35 Years
IQ Products
|

In
September we celebrated IQ Products’ 35 year anniversary. Over these last
three and a half decades we have developed several innovative IVD products
in niche areas. In this period, we have gained expertise as developer,
manufacturer and international supplier of diagnostic products primarily
based on antibodies. Knowledge we hope to extend and use in the coming
years.
