A vibrant press informs our community and promotes a diverse exchange of ideas. Accordingly, we were surprised an concerned by the massive layoffs last week at the Jewish Exponent. We are sorry to see Lisa Hostein and her team go, but we wish the Exponent's new editorial team good luck as they build on the paper's 128-year history. We will surely learn more when the first issue with Joshua Runyan at the helm comes out later this week. Meanwhile, read what some of our writers have to say about these developments.
