Mike Tripodi (he/him) is the Red Cross Disaster Program Manager, on the Board of the Directors for the Autism Society of the Greater Hudson Region and is GRASP's consultant on Disability Advocacy relating to his Red Cross and disaster response expertise.
Topic: Mike will talk about how to work with your local emergency management agencies about getting a seat at the disaster planning table, especially as a disabled person, and what you can do to help your community prepare for disasters.

Heather Simpson, MA (she/her) is from the Stswecem'c Xgat'tem First Nation, located in unceded Traditional Territories of Secwepemc, in British Columbia, Canada. Heather is the Coordinator for the Office of Indigenization and a sessional faculty member at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Topic: Forming Strong Cultural Identities in an Intersecting Space of Indigeneity and Autism in Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Heather will discuss findings from her literature review, weaving her own story as a thread of the collective narrative.

Brian J Liston (he/him) is a poet, author of Through Autistic Eyes, vlogs and blogs on his website, the Autistic SuperBlog, is a GRASP Board of Directors member, and a long term Autistic advocate in the Hudson Valley of NY.
Topic: Brian will be discussing his experiences of communal living during the pandemic and how he handled the NY state restrictions on his housing.

Darcy Deane, MA (they/them) is a biracial, nonbinary, and neurodivergent person, Darcy is passionate about supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. They earned a BA and an MA from UPenn in their special interest, Linguistic Anthropology, and currently work as a Human Capital Consultant in New York City.
Topic: Darcy will speak on "The Intergenerational Legacy of Neurodivergence: Genetics, Intersectionality, & Collective Healing", focusing on their experiences of being raised in a late-identified neurodivergent family, the intergenerational and medical trauma that multiply marginalized communities experience, and how they've found healing as an autistic person through Afro-diasporic and indigenous community.

Jeannie Mills, RN (she/her) is from Kelowna, BC, Canada; grew up on the west coast and completed her nursing education in Victoria, BC. She is an RN specializing in rural and remote advanced practice nursing with particular focus on healthcare delivery in isolated indigenous communities in Canada's high arctic.
Topic: Jeannie will be discussing her recent autism diagnosis at age 67 and the autism traits which she overlooked throughout her life.
