RESET is a theatrical experience that explores, through humor and movement, our relationship with technology, artificial intelligence, and the boundaries of reality.
Three bodies trapped within a system repeat, obey, and function… until something goes wrong.
What if, in order to discover who we are, we first had to step outside what we believe to be real?
In RESET, performers Alfonso Barón, Luciano Cortés, and Luciano Rosso construct a theatrical experience in which the body appears as the last truly human territory. Through physical theater, extreme gesture, absurdist humor, and hypnotic choreographic precision, the work offers an unsettling reflection on the personal and collective restarts that define our era.
The word "reset" immediately calls to mind technological logic: powering off to start over, erasing errors, rebooting saturated systems. But the piece transforms that computational idea into an existential metaphor. The bodies of the three performers seem trapped in behavioral loops, in routines that repeat and evolve, as if all of humanity were attempting to reprogram itself after each crisis. The stage becomes a kind of human laboratory where movement reveals both the fragility and the persistence of our species.
At a time when AI is redefining work, communication, and even creativity, RESET proposes a resistance rooted in the body. Where technology promises efficiency, the performers exhibit error, exhaustion, breath, and vulnerability. The body fails, sweats, comes apart, and begins again. And it is precisely in that imperfection that something profoundly human emerges.
The visual proposition is amplified by the set design and costumes of Celia Ledón, which construct an ambiguous space between the industrial, the futuristic, and the human, reinforcing the sensation of standing before a world in constant mutation.
This event is part of the International Cultural Partnership program (ICP) of the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs between FUNDarte & Timbre 4.

Tres cuerpos atrapados en un sistema repiten, obedecen y funcionan… hasta que algo falla.
¿Y si para descubrir quiénes somos primero tuviéramos que salir de aquello que creemos real?
En RESET, los intérpretes Alfonso Barón, Luciano Cortés y Luciano Rosso construyen una experiencia teatral en la que el cuerpo aparece como el último territorio verdaderamente humano. A través del teatro físico, el gesto extremo, el humor absurdista y una precisión coreográfica hipnótica, la obra ofrece una inquietante reflexión sobre los reinicios personales y colectivos que definen nuestra era.
La palabra "reset" evoca de inmediato la lógica tecnológica: apagar para volver a empezar, borrar errores, reiniciar sistemas saturados. Pero la pieza transforma esa idea computacional en una metáfora existencial. Los cuerpos de los tres intérpretes parecen atrapados en bucles de comportamiento, en rutinas que se repiten y evolucionan, como si toda la humanidad intentara reprogramarse tras cada crisis. El escenario se convierte en una especie de laboratorio humano donde el movimiento revela tanto la fragilidad como la persistencia de nuestra especie.
En un momento en que la inteligencia artificial redefine el trabajo, la comunicación e incluso la creatividad, RESET propone una resistencia arraigada en el cuerpo. Allí donde la tecnología promete eficiencia, los intérpretes exhiben el error, el agotamiento, la respiración y la vulnerabilidad. El cuerpo falla, suda, se deshace y vuelve a comenzar. Y es precisamente en esa imperfección donde emerge algo profundamente humano.
La propuesta visual se amplifica con la escenografía y el vestuario de Celia Ledón, que construyen un espacio ambiguo entre lo industrial, lo futurista y lo humano, reforzando la sensación de estar ante un mundo en constante mutación.

An intensive workshop combining physical training, theater, dance, play, and improvisation to expand the performer’s presence, awareness, and creative potential. Through a demanding yet playful practice, participants develop a more responsive, expressive, and intelligent body—one capable of approaching performance with precision, freedom, and authenticity.
Two days of intensive physical training focused on stage presence, play, active listening, and bodywork as the foundation for creative expression.
