Announcing the Opening Keynote!
We're excited to announce the speakers for the CatalystCon West Opening Keynote Plenary Address: Sparking Communication in Sexuality, Activism, and Acceptance. The panel will include Lynn Comella, Cunning Minx, Winston Wilde, and Conner Habib, and will be moderated by Mo Beasley. The panelists will address the ongoing debates over sexuality at the local, national and global levels and discuss how they've created their own sparks and been catalysts for change.

CatalystCon Film Series

We've announced the lineup for the first annual CatalystCon Film Series. We'll kick off CatalystCon West on Thursday evening with screenings of Slut: A Documentary Film and Lady Valor: The Kristin Beck Story.
Slut: A Documentary Film features the stories of girls and women who have been the victims of sexual bullying and slut shaming in the United States and Canada. Drawing upon the opinions of media figures, sexologists, psychologists, and other experts including Drs. Carol Queen, Shira Tarrant, and Ebony Utley, “Slut” explores how we can all work toward change in our schools, communities, and culture, starting with ourselves. A director's cut of the film will be screened for the first time at CatalystCon, followed by a Q&A with UnSlut Project founder Emily Lindin and director Jessica Caimi.
In Lady Valor: The Kristin Beck Story, former U.S. Navy SEAL Christopher Beck embarks on a new mission as Kristin Beck. Kristin’s journey in search of the American ideals that she protected have a whole new meaning as she lives her life truthfully as a transgender woman. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Kristin Beck. Both Q&A sessions will be hosted by Carol Queen.
The Film Series is open to the public, and tickets are available now. Register here.
Go West and Get Wet!

What's better than getting a "Golden Ticket" to visit Willie Wonka's magical chocolate factory? Getting a "Wet Ticket" to visit the Wet Lube Factory Tour! They will pick you up in their Wet Party Bus and bring you to the factory in Valencia for a light breakfast. Tour the facility and factory and have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of all the employees who work in every aspect of their business - from product development to manufacturing to shipping.
The Wet Factory Tour is open to registered attendees of CatalystCon West only. There is no additional charge for the tour, but space is limited so separate registration is required. This tour sold out quickly last year, so reserve your spot today!
