In the present bulletin we are pleased to announce that the International Solid Waste Association and the LIFE programme are part of the next Save the Planet - Waste Management and Recycling Exhibition  (27-29 March, Sofia).
 
The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) is the world’s leading network promoting professional and sustainable waste management.

The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. The LIFE session is going to be held within the frameworks of SEE Conference on Waste Management & Environment on March 28.
 
In this newsletter you will also find a short description of our media partners: GREEN INDUSTRY Magazine and RECYCLING demolizioni & riciclaggio.
 
In the next issue we will continue to introduce the exhibitors of Save the Planet 2018. Expect more information about two of them – the companies ATI ENVIRONNEMENT and STEINERT GmbH. They will present incinerators for waste treatment, innovative sensor sorting as well as traditional magnetic separation technology.

Interview with LIFE Programme representatives in connection to their participation in the South-East European event of Waste Management, Environment, Energy Efficiency & Renewables 2018
 
The  LIFE  programme will participate for the first time with a panel in the 9th edition of the South-East European Conference on Waste Management & Environment 'Save the Planet' on 28 March. Please present in brief the Programme main targets & tools and their opportunities for application in the South-East European (SEE) Region.
 
The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. The general objective of LIFE is to contribute to the implementation, updating and development of EU environmental and climate policy and legislation by co-financing projects with European added value. Since 1992, the programme has co-financed more than 4500 projects. LIFE can be a useful tool to help the South-East European Region to achieve its EU commitments and goals on environmental protection and fight against climate change.
