What an Amazing Concert!!! |
Sue and I absolutely enjoyed the concert last Sunday afternoon. You sounded great and looked like you were having fun while singing! Voices is fortunate to have Ross for music director. His visible passion for the music and energetic directing adds a visible component to the concert. We are looking forward to the next time.
Speaking of the next time, don't forget to register for the Spring 2025 semester which starts on Monday, January 27th. The registration web page is up at running at https://acithaca.org/groups/voices/join/. Be sure and tell your friends about this amazing chorus and invite them to come and sing with us.
A final note (literally). This is my last time as the newsletter editor for Voices. Andrea Kabcenell is taking over, so if you have anything for the newsletter, send it in plain text completed form so we can copy and paste - the email address is voicesnews@acithaca.org.

We did it!!!
I can't thank you all enough for your hard work, dedication, sense of humor, and patience over this semester. It was an incredible journey (including one of the slowest "Sleigh Rides" ever!), and I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to spend it with. Here's wishing you all a wonderful holiday season, and I'll see you in January!

Congratulations on another wonderful performance!
Please come back and join us next semester beginning January 27th. Of course the more the merrier so feel free to encourage family, friends and coworkers to come see what VOICES is all about. The first three weeks of rehearsal are open to anyone who wishes to give us a trial run before making a commitment.
I hope you all enjoy your holidays with family and friends.
See you soon! Sherrie

Congrats, Numbers, Pixs and Vids
Kudos to all! Thanks to your hard work and skilled leadership from Ross and Anna, we created a fun and impressive concert. I hope you looked up enough to soak in the smiles, foot tapping, rocking, and clapping. We surely contributed some joy to the season.
Our numbers were good – about 120 in the audience and we took in about $1,100 beating our $1,000 budget. Speaking of money, thank you for your words and contributions to recognize Ross and Anna. We are lucky to have them and it’s nice to be able to show our appreciation.
Lastly, if you have friends or family members who have photos or videos of the concert and are willing to share, please send them to me at musicinfo@acithaca.org. I’ll use them, with attribution of course, on our social media and share them with the group.
Peaceful and happy holidays to all! Now if I can just get Sleigh Ride out of my head.
