Exciting news!

Today, the New York City Council passed Mayor Adams' City of Yes zoning proposals, unlocking more dance opportunities citywide. This historic decision permits dancing in any venue that allows music, moving us forward in our quest for cultural vibrancy and community renewal.

After two decades of relentless advocacy on LegalizeDance.org, we're thrilled to see our efforts bear fruit. Huge thanks to Mayor Eric Adams and Commissioner Dan Garodnick for their leadership in updating these laws. They promise to not only nurture artistic expression but also breathe fresh life into marginalized communities, fostering inclusivity and unity through dance.

Join us in celebrating this milestone at our FREEDOM TO DANCE party on July 5th! Below, enjoy captivating photos from the 18th annual Dance Parade held on May 18. These images offer a glimpse into the boundless energy, creativity, and camaraderie that will define our vibrant "City of Yes."
