Pathways to Leadership for the Graduate-Prepared Nurse

Join distinguished nurse leader Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN, FAAN, for an insightful conversation about the expanding roles for graduate-prepared nurses in an evolving healthcare system. Dr. Wakefield, the highest ranking nurse in the federal government who heads the Health Resources and Services Administration, will discuss how nurses are transforming the future of healthcare in many arenas, including primary care, healthcare administration, research, policy, and education. Dr. Wakefield will share her own personal story from bedside nurse to national leader and offer advice on how to advance your own pathway to leadership. Following the remarks, participants will have the chance to ask questions and further explore topics of personal interest. 
Dr. Wakefield is presenting this free webcast to help launch the Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA), a new national network of students in master’s and doctoral nursing programs established by the American Association of College of Nursing (AACN).
