ABOUT AUTHOR AND PASTOR BRIAN WRIGHT
Brian Wright, Sr. is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh (Class of 1999). He has a background in social work holding an MSW and focuses on ministry and faith-based community outreach. He also served within the region's legal system as a Case Administrator/Courtroom Deputy for the U.S. District Courts. He became a prominent local voice against neighborhood violence, channeling his resolve into community outreach, faith, and speaking out for peace in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas like Wilkinsburg.Ministry and Community WorkFaith Leadership. He has been involved with local ministry and outreach efforts, including community prayer gatherings, anti-violence marches, and pastoral engagement. Operating under the personal message "From an Injured Mess to a Messenger," he shares messages of faith, resilience, and community healing.
