So...

Here we are.

Where we have never been before.

A "president" who pre-emptively tries to invalidate a presidential election - undermining the same mail-in voting he himself has used in the past, while also making unsubstantiated claims of fraud, and finally refusing to commit to accepting the results.

He said it might take months or even years before we know the outcome.

He literally said that.

Here's the thing - Trump knows that he cannot leave office, cannot leave presidential immunity. The moment he leaves office he will be subject to every lawsuit and criminal investigation he has earned, and all the recipients of nepotism and cronyism will write books implicating him in corruption to save themselves.

Trump cannot leave office.

And remember - the presidential election has to be validated by the state legislatures, 26 of which are controlled by Republicans. So it's not just whether or not Trump accepts the results, it's that many Republican legislatures may agree with his disagreement, giving him their electoral college votes based  on his accusations of fraud.

So get ready for him and his followers to take to the streets insisting that democracy itself undermines democracy, that spray-tan Nero is still the Fearless Leader regardless of an outcome to the contrary, and that the never-ending presidency of Donald Trump  will be based in  Mar-A-Lago, capital of the New Confederacy of the United States of America.

"Is Everything Racist Now?"

"If someone takes the time to give you honest feedback, to appreciate it. They are expending their precious energy to give you something important. This is unpaid emotional labor that they are under no obligation to do.  Instead of talking to you, they could just warn others about you..."
