It's a new year and with it (as you might have realized already), the Armstrong Capital Newsletter now has a new look AND a new name... the Note-able Newsletter! Q - Does a note investor usually need to see the property condition and the market value of that particular property in order to make a decision to buy the note from the note holder? - R. Than

 

A - Yes. After a note holder has accepted a price from an investor part of the due diligence process is getting a drive by appraisal or BPO (Broker's Price Opinion) of the subject property to determine it's current market value and condition of the property.  Usually the property must appraise for at least what it sold for and the subject property should be in average to good condition.
