There are things in the Note
Business (or any business) that
you can’t learn from a workshop,
book or video - things that only
experience and “time on the
water” can teach you. Attending
a live workshop taught by a
current practicing note
professional is definitely one
of the many things that you can
do to ensure that you will have
a successful note business. The
contacts you make will be there
to encourage you and share your
initial struggles. You could
pick up important marketing,
negotiating, calculator and
presentation skills that will
give you and edge when starting

help you make fewer mistakes and
be successful faster and easier

Private Mortgage Broker Reality
In
this industry, especially on the
private mortgage side, how
realistic is it that a note
broker can be successful? I was
informed that in the Rucker
Howell interview he stated that
brokers couldn’t survive in the
private mortgage industry as it
is and may need to look at
getting into the origination
business. It is the opinion of
this Master Broker that a note
broker in the private mortgage
industry can survive and be
successful but they will have to
change the way they do business...

What forms are used at closing for a note sale?

A - Hi Geoff!
There may be more
depending upon the situation but the basic forms to close a note purchase
transaction are a Purchase and Sale Agreement, Goodbye letter, Insurance letter,
Promissory Note Endorsement and a Transfer and Assignment. Hope this helps!
