Singapore - Singapore Athletic Association (SAA) announced earlier today that sprinter Shanti Pereira has accepted the universality place and will represent Singapore at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Shanti Pereira was selected as the nominated universality entry in accordance with SAA’s selection criteria. Shanti Pereira will be competing in the women’s 200m dash event. She is the current national record holder with a timing of 23.60 (+0.3 m/s) from the 2015 Southeast Asian Games.
