Tip of the Week
Did you know....
The more times you get a Note
holder to say yes to minor
questions ("Does that sound fair
enough?". Do you like what
you've heard so far?") the more
likely they will say yes to your
major closing questions ("Are
you ready to get started?", "Are
you ready to move forward?").

President's
Corner
Over the last couple weeks I
mentioned what I believe to be a
couple of qualities of good note
professionals including honesty
and passion. Two
additional qualities of a good
note professional are they are
Tenacious and they are Risk
Takers.
Successful note professionals
are tenacious. They pick
themselves up and dust off the
fear, anxiety and self-loathing
that may have seeped in from
yesterday’s events. They look
rejection straight in the eye
and roar into the day that can
and will be. Successful
note professionals are resolute
in what their vision of tomorrow
should look like. They are bold,
brash and indifferent to the
small voice in their head
telling them to let it go, pack
it up and move on.
Good note professionals are Risk
Takers. Building a note
business will not allow you to
take a back seat to opportunity.
Building a successful note
business requires that you step
out in faith and embrace risk,
better yet, calculated risk. It
is all about taking the risk and
reaping the reward.
Remember, Success Demands
Action! Keep on marketing, it’s
going to work! TWITA! |

10 Note Broker Mistakes
I often get lots of questions
from new individuals in the note
business of what to “do” in the
business or how to get started.
But not many ask me what “not to
do” or what mistakes to avoid.
After thinking about it for a
while I came up with a top ten
list of mistakes and things to
avoid as a note broker...

Question of
the Week
Q
- Hi Jeff,
Is notes investing basically for passive income?
Or should I try another real investing strategy to build to cash. I eventually
want a passive income but I need cash right now.
~ Joseph

Hi Joseph!
Thanks
for the email! In short, yes, investing in notes is for passive income. In fact
it is for what I call extreme passive income - no tenants, toilets, termites or
taxes! However, to get to the point of the passive income you need to have the
cash to buy notes for yourself. Most individuals start in the note business by
brokering notes and once they have compiled enough cash to buy a note then they
start buying notes for the passive income. And don’t be fooled, you do not need
a lot of cash to buy notes sometimes. Last year we bought a $13,000 note for
only $4,000! It can and does happen. If you need cash right now this business
most likely will not get you what you need. This is a real business and you
need time, effort and money (for the marketing) to start making money and become
successful at it.
Hope
this helps! TWITA!
