W. Bro. Roy Whitfield Celebrates 50 Years In Craft Freemasonry |
It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity this afternoon to present a 50 Year Certificate and Badge to your new Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Alfred Roy Whitfield.
W Bro Roy you were Initiated into the Astral Lodge no 3841 which meets in Grimsby in the Province of Lincolnshire on 19th December 1975. There is no record of you holding any offices in Lincolnshire, but the records weren’t computerised in those days.

Members of the Club and the Province travelled to London to enjoy the Light Blues Communication during the last weekend of May. Once again, the event was hugely successful and very well represented by the Light Blues of West Wales.

Cyfrinfa Y Tair Sir on Tour |
Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir (Lodge of the Three Counties), was consecrated in December 2021 and works the ceremonies in the Welsh Language. Generally, the lodge meets in Lampeter but on Monday 22nd June 2026 they had a Dispensation to hold their meeting in the Masonic Hall in Cardigan. Frenni Lodge had two candidates for Passing and as they are both first language Welsh speakers, they were keen to have the ceremony performed in Welsh.

Peter Drewett Daylight Lodge of Progress |
The Peter Drewett Daylight Lodge of Progress used to be the final Installation meeting of the West Wales season. It is generally hot and sunny and there has always been a party atmosphere as the summer recess beckons. There is still a party atmosphere at the meeting, but now it’s because it’s the first meeting for the new team.
