"Neutral" is known as pioneers of Russian neofolk and one of our all-time favorite bands. Neutral started in 1994 by singer and songwriter Ash, having dramatically changed their musical direction from industrial to acoustic neofolk sound in 1998. SInce then almost every song of the band is a graceful combination of guitar and violin melodies, touching lyrical imagery and deep vocals.
Now Neutral is back! We are really glad to announce Neutral's new, long awaited album. For seven years, after releasing the widely acclaimed album "Serpents In The Dawn" in 2008, Ash has been concentrating on his vision on what is to become "Дни самозабвения" (The Days of Self-abandonment). All the lyrics on the album is performed in Russian and we are sure this will add a new dimension to the long musical path of the band. The sound of the native language offers an exclusively intense experience which cannot be described or translated, only perceived.
For years we have been waiting for a new Neutral album and now ready to welcome one of the most important neofolk release of this year.
Neutral are back with a new masterpiece of melancholic and nostalgic music comprising all the necessary elements for the perfect acoustic journey - warm guitars, emotional strings and deep vocals.
CD comes in Digipak with booklet and first press limited to 800 copies.

Extremely long-awaited release of one of the best Dark Folk groups!
"Neutral" is a pioneers of Russian Dark Folk, band started in 94 by singer and songwriter Ash and later Evgeny Voronovsky (Cisfinitum) joined him. Literally every song project is surprisingly graceful melodies of guitar and violin, touching lyrical imagery and deep vocals.
"Neutral" never recorded albums too often, in fact their record is a rarity. For 20 years of existence band has been recorded only two studio albums "... Of Shadow And Its Dream" 04 (Cynfeirdd) and "Serpents In The Dawn" 08 (Eis Und Licht) and 2 concert album "Walpurgis Night At Luisen Kirche Koenigsberg Live" 00 and "Luisenkirche, Königsberg" 06.
"Luisenkirche, Königsberg" was published in 2006 by the German cult Dark Folk label Eis Und Licht, but only on CDr / DVDr and micro-edition of only 35 copies, which in fact was sold out in one hour. After that, the master of records were lost and we spent almost 2 years on something that would find them, luckily it worked!
Now recording reissued on factory pressed CD. Remastering by Peter Andersson (raison d'etre) ...

Second part of occult trilogy "Swale. Shadow. Fog." from Siberian Dark Folk/Post Punk band. After their highly acclaimed debut album and very successful tour, band became one of the greatest music discovering in Russian rock music for last 10 years at least.
Srub have delved deeper into their style of punk-influenced psychedelic neofolk and created a self- described “post-industrial chthonic music.” Using acoustic and electronic instruments, found sounds and an extensive tribal rhythm section, Srub have put it all out on the table and left us with their magnum opus.
…It grows out of the night the day. Greedy sun disturb the dead grass. Scattered melted ravines silhouettes languishing tree. Hungry Beast is awakened from his sleep. Fragile ice will no longer be dear to the house. On the bridge, through the spirit of the dawn shadows. And closer Fog ..
