we are delighted to inform you that by April 30th a new ELIG Board has been confirmed for two years. The ELIG Board will take over the role of the previous Executive Committee under the leadership of a new board chair and two vice chairs.

Fadi A. Khalek, Vice President Higher Education & Applied Learning at Pearson has been elected as chair of the ELIG Board. Diem Ho, Head of University Relations IBM Europe and Paul Hunter, Director Corporate Learning Network at IMD Business School will take the role of Vice Chairs of the Board.

"I am happy and proud to take on this important role" says ELIG Board Chair Fadi A. Khalek. "I am convinced that new innovative approaches in education and learning are key to Europe's future. I would like to see ELIG in a leading role to create this future."

On behalf of the ELIG secretariat, we are proud to have world-class companies and top academic institutions represented on the new ELIG Board and in the ELIG membership.
