Gibbons Scholarship Fund Drive
ICC&CS will be collecting funds for the Gibbons Scholarship for Youth for one more week. The Gibbons Scholarship was established in 2001 by the Ithaca Community Choruses to honor the choruses' founding director, Paul Gibbons, and to provide a promising high school voice student with the means for musical training. We will be passing a jar around in which you can make a donation. Please feel free to donate what you can. Concert Tickets Available Online Now!

Spring 2025 Semester
For the Spring 2025 semester, ICC&CS rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, beginning on February 5. The concert will be on Saturday, May 10, featuring "Frostiana" by Randall Thompson and "Lux Aeterna" by Morten Lauridsen. Registration will open soon and we will be sending out an email blast announcement.

Requiem Onscreen
Chorus member Deborah Berman noticed snippets from the Requiem in the films Inside Llewyn Davis and The Big Lebowski. In addition to the obvious (Amadeus), parts of various movements have been used in numerous movies and TV shows, so don't be surprised if your ears suddenly perk up the next time you watch Eyes Wide Shut, Monty Python's Life of Brian, The Crown, Peaky Blinders, or X-Men 2 !
