Hi everyone,

Well, yesterday was not the finest day for the Boys in (Throwback) Blue, but all things considered, it's not a disaster. We all expected a day like this at some point, so its good that it happened on the road and to an out-of-conference opponent. And hey, we're tied for first in the AFC East!

Now, on to business....

We'd like to thank everyone for their patience yesterday at the Harp. We've met with the Harp management and made them aware of the problems, and they've promised to add additional staff when needed. The crowds the last two weeks have been larger than we all expected, and while that makes for a great environment to watch the game, it's also strained the usual staff that they have on hand. The problem with the buffet yesterday was due to an overload in the kitchen in the first half, which, frankly, is a good problem to have. But it all starts with planning, and we dropped the ball. It will get fixed.

Also, we have two specific requests for everyone. First of all, if you're not happy with anything that happens on game day, please speak to one of us (Alison, Jeff, or George), and not directly to the Harp staff. It makes it much easier to deal with problems if everything is kept streamlined. You can also send us email after the game, or submit a comment through our website.

Secondly, if you're partaking in the buffet, please take only what you personally will eat, and be respectful of others in the line behind you. Please don't stockpile for the second half of the game. The Harp puts the buffet out for everyone to enjoy, and if everyone uses some common courtesy we'll be able to continue offering it.

Finally, the Harp management and staff wants everyone to know how much they appreciate the terrific business of the last two weeks. All things considered, it's been a great start, and we're look forward to the rest of the season. Onwards!

Next week: the Falcons, at 1:00 pm from the Ralph. Will Michael Vick play? Or will the Bills be mad enough that it won't matter? See you for kickoff... Go Bills!
