We are delighted to share our latest newsletter with you, which includes details of our recent Experience Days hosted on 3-4 November at our facility in the Philippines.
We were thrilled to welcome many participants from all over the Globe. The event was an enormous success with extremely positive feedback received, encouraging ABC to continue to spread the word of their innovative, intelligent solutions to the Global Crisis the Banana Plant is facing.
We’ve created a short overview of the event for your perusal:
Over the two days, guests were walked through ABC field experiments set up for external customers to demonstrate the Cultivation Systems including:
- Components
- Sensors
- Water solutions
- Irrigation
- UV disinfection
This was followed by presentations from partners, suppliers and customers to explain ABC’s Portfolio of products, innovations and solutions which currently include:
- The ABC (A Better Choice) Cultivation System
- Water Solutions
- Research from Laboratory to Field

The ABC Cultivation System Next Phase (TRL7)
During the Experience Days we secured a number of registrations for, ‘5 fields of 5-10 hectares in’ 2025 in different countries, however, we do have a few spaces remaining –

Water Solutions
Our UV-C solution enables you to disinfect water without chemicals, saving money as well as becoming a more sustainable business.  Do you want to remove the Biofilm in your irrigation lines? Project CLEAR
 There has already been huge interest in project CLEAR, however, although we have reached capacity for Q1 2025, we will reach out to any interested parties when the initial phase is complete to welcome additional collaborations for implementing a sustainable, more cost effective circular water system for washing bananas. |

Project SPOT
Project SPOT will focus primarily on early disease detection, first phase Black Sigatoka (BSLD). Project SPOT will provide multi spectrum drone images of partners fields, followed up with a report identifying specific areas requiring focus. There are still opportunities to participate in this project, please get in touch for more information.
