Diversity Arts Network website

Our DAN website is due to go live in 2 weeks time. The link below will take you to a template version of the website where you will see a small sample of members listed under different categories including artists, arts organisations, museums, community groups/centres and theatres.

https://diversityartsnetwork.dimension6000.com/

Each member listing will take you directly to their own website or relevant webpage (when the site goes live) detailing the diverse projects they are involved in.  However due to the pandemic we understand many projects may not be up and running yet.

We will be adding many more listings before going live so if you would like to be included please email us your website, facebook or webpage link and an image.  Please be aware that the work that will be featured on this site must be directly related to promoting diversity and specifically in how you are tackling the issues that the Black Lives Matter movement has highlighted.

"Doing nothing is no longer an option"

Finally we are including a powerful message from the Royal Court Liverpool on their website,  and something for us all to reflect on in our own working practices.

BLACK LIVES MATTER STATEMENT
"Liverpool’s Royal Court would like to add our voice of support to George Floyd’s grieving family and community and stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter in seeking justice and equality.
We acknowledge that there is a serious problem within the theatre industry and with us as a part of that industry. Two years ago, together with Miriam Mussa and Maurice Bessman, we helped to set up Boisterous Theatre Company to showcase the work of BAME actors, writers, creatives and producers.
It is no longer enough for us simply to stand up and condemn racism: we must be actively anti-racist.
We commit to doing more as an organisation to redress the imbalance within our industry
We commit to actively working and to continually reflect, listen and learn to be actively anti racist and to do everything we can to bring about positive change
Black Lives Matter."
