Choosing a Medium: The Fundamentals of Mediumship
A Panel Discussion with Kathe Martin, Susan Rentjes and Nancy Zingrone

How do you choose a medium? What are appropriate questions to  ask? When do you visit and what are some of the preparations to consider? What are leading questions and how can you avoid them? What are  signs that identify  fraud? How does it work anyway?

Two mediums, Kathe Martin and Susan Rentjes will share their views and opinions about some of the important questions surrounding sessions with mediums. Nancy Zingrone will speak from a scientific perspective on the current mediumship research.

Biographical Information

Kathe Martin is a professional psychic medium with twenty-five years’ experience.  Following a lifelong interest in the occult she began reading Tarot cards in 1988.  She was somewhat skeptical of the channeling concept until one day in 1993 when doing a Tarot reading for a client the client’s deceased boyfriend dropped in to say hello.  From that point on she had no choice but to be a believer and spontaneous channelings began to occur more and more often during her readings.  For five years from 2006-2011 she conducted group channeling events for the general public in Greensboro, North Carolina.   She holds a certificate in acupressure massage from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California with a concentration in Traditional Chinese Medicine.  She has trained personally with Michael Harner, founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in Mill Valley, California, in shamanic journeying and practices.  Her training and practical experience in these fields has led her to an in depth understanding of the energy of both living body systems and the universal energy of which we are all an integral part.  Kathe has been a radio show guest and has been written about in Yes Weekly.  She maintains a practice in Greensboro where she does private readings and she does phone readings nationally.  Find out more about Kathe or contact her through her website www.kathemartin.com

Susan has developed effective methods for completing unfinished inner work to clear the way for positive external change.  Her psychological expertise and psychic talent offer an intriguing and balanced model for psychic and spiritual development. Quoting renowned astrologer and author Steven Forrest: “Susan Reintjes’ work is eloquent, honest, grounded, and wise.  Third Eye Open is a book that will be helping people a hundred years from now.”
