       The fifth of my five suggestions to spring clean your Note Business is to SUSTAIN.

           Developing standards and processes is hard enough, but how do you keep it going throughout the months and years ahead in your note business? You need a “maintenance” plan to keep on target. Periodic, scheduled reviews of your hard drives and data cleanup of contact management or other information databases can greatly reduce the unnecessary data that creeps into any system with lots of information input. Getting input from your investors, your referral sources and a maybe even few of the note holders you deal with can be useful in developing more efficient approaches to complicated processes. All the work that goes into creating efficiencies will be lost if the process breaks down or is abandoned, so developing a workable plan to sustain the commitment to excellence is key to the success of your note business.

          I have worked with many note professionals that have adopted these five steps and reached high organizational achievement for their note businesses. Sort, Sweep, Simplify, Standardize and Sustain. There is still plenty of time left in 2016 to make some resolutions on improving your note business…start spring cleaning! Remember, Success Demands Action! Keep on marketing, it’s going to work! TWITA!
