Want to perform qRT-PCR but dont have enough RNA ???
 
Gene expression analysis is commonly used to evaluate the effects of an environmental stimulus or a drug on a cell, detect pathogens, or determine if a person is susceptible to cancer. When evaluating gene
expression in a cell by qPCR, complementary DNA (cDNA) must first be synthesized from mRNA.
 
Quantitative reverse transcription-PCR (qRT-PCR) for gene expression studies from very small samples can be difficult for a number of reasons, including the following:

Very few qRT-PCRs possible due to sample size
Lack of sensitivity, especially of low-abundance transcripts.
Difficulty purifying minute amounts of total RNA.
Need to collect samples frequently.
Difficulty in archiving samples.
 
A MessageBOOSTER cDNA Synthesis from Cell Lysates Kit reaction amplifies, in a linear manner, the mRNA (poly[A] RNA) directly from the lysates of 1-1,000 cells, without the need for isolating total cellular RNA. The amplified RNA is converted to cDNA that can be diluted and used for qPCR.
