We sincerely hope the new year is going well for you! Looking back to 2022 with great satisfaction, we are happy our love for live performing has been requited by gigs with our bands and friends in the Netherlands, India, Thailand, Serbia and the US.

 

Fielding notifications from the media last week led to me exciting news. Research concerning the export of Dutch music acts revealed that incidence of Dutch artists performing abroad is picking up. My 68 performances outside the Netherlands in 2022 ranks me number 14 of all the Dutch music artists performing abroad--and the top-ranked woman! Memory fresh from suffering all the recent cancelled tours due to the pandemic--a.o. to Morocco, Kremia, Moldova, Quatar and others—I am elated by this win!

 

Nonetheless, we're hopeful for new opportunities for this new year, which has, so far, kicked off quite well with performing and meeting people in the US (New York, NY; Grand Rapids, MI; Chappaqua, NY and Newington, CT). Upcoming still are some US shows before we hop back over the pond for Netherlands shows. We're working hard on a new Warren Byrd CD, slated to be released this year, stay tuned, also for more music news!
