Hi everyone,

It seems hard to believe, but football is back! The Bills 50th season, and our 14th at the Harp, kick off with the Hall of Fame ceremonies this weekend.

The festivities start off Saturday at 7 pm with the Induction ceremonies. Former Bills' defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell will present Bruce Smith for induction, and ESPN's Chris Berman will present owner Ralph Wilson. Think we'll finally learn who the famed "taxi driver" is?

On Sunday, the Bills face the Tennessee Titans in the annual Hall of Fame Game. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the AFL, both teams will be wearing "throwback" uniforms, the Bills in a classic white uniform and the Titans in the original blue uniforms of the Houston Oilers. Kickoff is at 8 pm.

We'd like to remind everyone of our policy regarding preseason games. The short answer is that we can't guarantee the Harp will show the games -- if you're interested, the long answer can be found on our website, http://www.bostonbillsbackers.com/preseason_games.html. Two of the Bills' five preseason games will be broadcast live; the other three will be shown on the NFL Network on a tape delay basis:

* Sun., Aug. 9 Hall of Fame Game vs. Tennessee Titans, 8:00PM. Live on NBC; NFL Network tape delay, Monday August 10, 9 am.
* Sat., Aug. 15 vs Chicago Bears, 7:00PM. Live on NFL Network; tape delay Saturday August 15, 7 pm.
* Sat., Aug. 22 @ Green Bay Packers, 8:00PM. NFL Network tape delay, Sunday, August 23, 4 pm.
* Sat., Aug. 29 @ Pittsburgh Steelers, 7:30PM. NFL Network tape delay, Sunday, August 30, 1 pm.
* Thur., Sept. 3 vs Detroit Lions, 6:30PM. NFL Network tape delay, Sunday, September 6, 7 am.

For Sunday's HOF game, the Bleacher Bar at Fenway Park will welcome Bills fans to kick off the season. Starting at 7 pm, the Bleacher Bar will feature a Cornhole Tournament along with drink and food specials: 7 Labatt bottles for $20; Sliders will be 1/2 price until half time and wings are free through the entire game. The Red Sox are away and parking is available all around Fenway Park. For directions, see their website at http://bleacherbarboston.com

Go Bills!
