Update on Water Boosting System for emergency water for the island.

A solution to the drop in water flow from Sydney Water which has caused problems on line 3 in particular but also on lines 1 and 2 has now been resolved. This has taken many hours of work by SIRA to ensure that we explored all the solutions and received expert advice from companies who carry out this sort of work. .

I know this has been a long process but we wanted to make sure that the solution when completed and operational would  give guaranteed increased flows to all residents on lines 1,2. and 3, faster filling times, which will open up more bookings per day and reduce waiting times.

The work has been completed and we are now working with the Pump supplier and Council to move forward as quickly as possible.

In the meantime water monitors will assist as much as possible to properties on line 3 in particular until the pressure pump is installed at Bells in January.

Frog Song in the Hollow

RFS Fundraiser

raftup

Hello all,

It's time to gather for a fundraiser - but not as you know it - where every shade of green will be filled with song.

Enjoy the vibe and harmonies of local performers, in the natural ampitheathre and tranquil beauty of Frog Hollow (Lovett Bay). Of course, it's all for a good cause. To support the work of the West Pittwater Rural Fire Brigade.

We have artists from all around Pittwater and the western foreshores performing, including Tina Harrod, Geoff Bullock and John  Brownrigg.

Note the date and time: Sunday 6th December from 4pm to 7pm.

You can attend by boat, ferry or foot and join one of the many pods of revellers at jetties, raft-ups, moorings or residence. All are welcome so come solo, partnered or mobbed. Round-up your family and friends into Covid safe groups and join Frog Song in the Hollow.

To register for a ticket, simply go to our event booking page HERE

All the information you need is detailed on the eventbrite site, including how to attend and organise a group.
