The survey has been developed by BHAF in collaboration with Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) and University of Sussex researchers.
What do we want to know and why?
In order to plan for the present and future of allotments we need reliable information on who uses allotments, how you use them and the benefits you get from your plots. We also want to understand your experiences of allotment life and what works and doesn’t work.
The last survey was carried out in 2013/14 in preparation for the 2014-24 Allotment Strategy and provided lots of valuable information. We need to update our knowledge to reflect the contemporary situation and plan for the future of allotments in the city.
Who is eligible to take part?
All current plot-holders are eligible. A separate survey is planned for waiting list applicants.
