Hello Gordon Mote Fans!

Where did the summer go? Time seems to be flying by and a lot has happened since our last newsletter in July. August has been an incredibly busy month and for that we are grateful.

Ashton starts second grade this week, Parker his sophomore year in high school and on Friday Samantha leaves for Cleveland, TN and her first year at Lee University! It will be a short 2 1/2 hour drive to Cleveland with Samantha and then a LOOONG ride back home! God's blessings have been on the Mote family and He is always faithful!

Many of you are aware that in July we had several dates in Canada and two seven night cruises to Alaska. Then the month of August has so far included a 10 day tour through Oklahoma, Missouri and Nebraska. We are grateful for the many new doors God has opened and continues to open for this ministry. We were blessed to have the opportunity of being a featured performer at The Brumley Gospel Sing for the first time. The warm welcome by the Brumley's and the great audience was overwhelming! This was the 47th year for this event. We were also again at the Konawa, OK Gospel Sing and that was it's 51st consecutive year! It was such a blessing to return to several churches and for many new ones to open doors to this ministry. God is awesome!!

In the midst of all the touring, we have made the opportunity to work on our second New Haven Records project, "Hymns and Songs of Inspiration," and are really excited about this CD! It will be a collection of hymns of the church and some great new worship tunes. The street date will be the end of October so keep tuned.

With all the opportunities that have come our way, we still have a few dates that we need to fill the end of this month and in September. If you know of a possibility, just get in touch and lets make it happen. There have been many 2016 dates also booked.

In the last several days, God has blessed this ministry with some unsolicited donations that were much needed. Much gratitude for those who have done so not knowing how much those contributions were needed! This ministry is committed to Him and we know that the financial requirements will continue to be met as we keep our eyes on Him! To God be the Glory!
