The IWSM conference will be held on October 7-9 in Haarlem in the Netherlands.

COSMIC official
standard for Polish IT tenders
The Polish Government ‘Komitet
Rady Ministrów do spraw cyfryzacji’ (the Committee of Ministers for Digitization
Matters’) has officially adopted the COSMIC method as ‘compulsory for new IT
projects encompassing IT tenders exceeding 2.3 Million Euros’ (about US$ 2.6

COSMIC Awards
To stimulate the use of the COSMIC method, COSMIC will
be issuing awards
for achievements that help to promote the COSMIC methods. The categories that
will be awarded this year are announced in the poster below.
Feel free to distribute this poster through your own
social media channels.
Research papers
The best research papers on COSMIC – published between
July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 are eligible for the COSMIC research award.
Please send in your nominations on or before June 30.
Project
benchmarks
The organization with the highest number of projects submitted
to the ISBSG database is eligible for the COSMIC benchmarking award. Please
send in your nominations on or before September 15.
Certified
professionals
The organization with the highest number of certified
professionals in the COSMIC method is eligible for the certification award.
Please send in your nominations on or before September 15.
