Editor's Note...
Please accept my apologies for the delay in the newsletter.  My wife and I are in Los Angeles attending our granddaughter's graduation from UC Santa Barbara.  Getting the newsletter out combined with travel complications and events has me way behind schedule.
Katie's Korner...
Dear Summer Sing,

That was such a fun rehearsal! I'm really impressed with how much we were able to get through, especially TaReKiTa! You people are good.

Next week, I'd like to focus a bit more on Bright Morning Stars. If you have time this week, please listen to your part in the recordings that Ed posts on the website. Knowing Ed, he probably has a link available right here in the newsletter post! This will help you feel more confident and will also help us in the more difficult parts of the song. We'll also work that first part of Flower Into Kindness that we haven't looked at yet.

I'm in the throes of POPS Concert preparation for my high school job so I'll sign off here. I'm looking forward to making music with you all again on Wednesday! And if you'd like to catch the POPS concert and see some talented high school singers, please come - 6:00pm tonight, Saturday, June 14, at the Lansing Middle School Auditorium! It's free! No tickets needed, just show up!

All the best,
Katie

Please remember to avoid wearing perfumes, colognes, essential oils and other scents to rehearsals and performances as they create respiratory discomfort for some of our singers.  Please do shower, however 😁
