Classic Job is building a reconstruction of the 1932-1933 Citroën Rosalie 'SPIDO' record car for a Dutch client. Just like the original, the reconstruction is based on a Citroën 15CV chassis with a 2722 cc six-cylinder engine. This 1931 Bentley 8-Litre is being restored by Altena Classic Service to the original factory specifications. The Vanden Plas-style bodywork, which was fitted in 1986, is being removed, and non-original interior, suspensions, and engine parts are being replaced with original parts. The original Mulliner semi-Weymann saloon body, which remained with the car after disassembly, is being restored to concours condition and reunited with the chassis. More information on the website.

This 1968 Maserati Quattroporte is being finished to perfection by S2 Classic Cars. Due to circumstances, the restoration company that started the project a few years ago was unable to complete it. Unfortunately, some parts have gone missing. Currently, missing parts are being collected, and the parts found are being restored and overhauled. The engine has since been overhauled and reinstalled in the engine bay!

This Volvo P1800 S body was restored at Classic Job. Prior to restoration, the body was in the worst condition we have ever seen on a Volvo P1800. The sills and the trunk floor were almost entirely missing. After repairing the sheet metal, the body received a KTL coating. Subsequently, the bodywork was smoothened and given a new paint system in dark grey (slate grey). The body has been returned to the owner, who is completing the Volvo P1800 S in his own workshop. This 1931 Bentley 4½-liter ‘blower’ (one of the fifty original homologation models) is undergoing a major service at Altena Classic Service. The car is being completely inspected and brought up to date technically. Bentley 3-Litre, built in 1923. This Bentley was delivered new on June 4, 1923. The first dated work order reads: “Stripped for racing”. This Bentley 3-Litre won a race at Brooklands in the hands of Captain Cecil Wingfield Twisleton-Wykeham Fiennes. In 1923, Fiennes took first place in the Brooklands 90 mph Long Handicap race. Fiennes recorded two laps with an average speed of 92.23 mph (148.4 km/h). He achieved another podium finish – a third place – in the 35th Brooklands 100 mph Short Handicap race. The data for chassis 110 of the Brooklands Automobile Racing Club (BARC) was checked and confirmed by the famous motorsports editor and Brooklands historian William “Bill” Boddy. The car comes with extensive documentation from new, including the original maintenance book from the Kingsbury factory, a handwritten logbook of the restoration in the late 1940s, a Bentley Three Litre handbook, the ‘Technical Facts of the Vintage Bentley’ manual, and countless photos and invoices. The car was imported into the Netherlands in 2008. In 2009, the owner commissioned Altena Classic Service for an extensive restoration, overhaul, and rally preparation of the 240Z. The HMC Mark IV is a hand-built British roadster inspired by the classic Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III (BJ8). The HMC Mark IV features a modern tubular chassis and a contemporary powertrain, while retaining the unmistakable shape and character of the original ‘Big Healey’. Power comes from a robust Rover 3.9-liter V8 engine, giving the car powerful performance and a wonderfully charismatic sound. The bodywork is constructed from fiberglass and Kevlar-reinforced plastics, with ‘force-hardened’ composite exterior panels offering both lightness and durability. Invicta 4½-liter (Series A), year 1931 (first registration January 2, 1931, manufactured in 1930). Exterior colour Oxford Blue combined with a black chassis and black wire wheels. Blue leather interior finished with blue carpet and a black mohair soft top. In the 1920s, Invicta acquired a reputation for performance and handling. With the introduction of the 4½-liter model, a legend was born. This very expensive top model was known as a fast sports car with exceptional acceleration. The Invicta 4½-liter was produced in very limited numbers, and preserved factory and club records indicate that a total of approximately 50 cars of this type were built. The presented 4½-Litre, chassis A204, still features the original four-seater open tourer body, built by Corsica of London. The car is equipped with black ‘bad weather gear’ consisting of a soft-top, side windows with aluminium frames, and a tonneau cover. The Morgan Plus 4 ‘bustleback’ is the rarest Plus 4 model due to its transitional bodywork with a more upright rear end in the style of the 1930s. This magnificent Alvis Speed 25 is in unique and beautifully preserved original condition! The car was sold new in the United Kingdom and imported to the Netherlands in the past. This very special ‘survivor’ is mechanically and technically in perfect order and drives excellently. Alvis was a highly regarded and innovative car manufacturer in the 1920s and 1930s. Even now, ninety years after purchase, you can experience the quality and enjoy the ease of use. A total of 391 Alvis Speed 25 chassis were produced, of which 329 were fitted with Charlesworth bodywork. Of these 329 cars, 62 were DHC (Drophead Coupé) models.
