We are proud to announce the release of our new FX plugin called UniMagic and this plugin has been added to the eXplorer-9 bundle at no extra cost 😀
UniMagic’s controls are minimal, to say the least. However, the sound it produces is, as you would expect, is of a very high quality and extremely useful to liven up your vocals or instruments.

TIP 1: Punch-2 is the most powerful drum synthesizer on this planet(well we are biased of course), so it is wise to check out the various YouTube videos here to understand the concept and the many features contained onboard.
TIP 2: RAW-Kick is specialized in Hardcore/Hardstyle Kicks, but it also has some nice EDM and even HipHop Kicks on board! And indeed... as the first presets warns “LOUD PRESETS”

- New ‘Online’ activation feature is rolling out now.
With our new UniMagic FX plugin we are rolling out the option to activate the plugin and the eXplorer-9 bundle online.
Of course, the other option to activate offline remains available.
In case of a fresh install of UniMagic or the eXplorer-9 bundle, you can use this new activation feature. Curious how it works? Then check this video here.
Over time, all of our plugins will get this new activation feature.

UniMagic’s controls are minimal, to say the least. However, the sound produced is very high quality and extremely useful to thicken up your vocals or instruments.
The Ribbon controller allows you to alter the sound with fine adjustment by changing a predefined range of parameters inside each preset type. You can even change the sound to a tempo using its ‘spring back’ feature with selectable time divisions.
Yes, you might think... what type of FX is this ?...but we simply say, don’t worry about that and just use it on your vocal or instrument track.Flick through the various presets and find out that plugins don’t have to be full of features and functions to give you a great FX sound to use in your tracks.

Updating your eXplorer-9 with the new UniMagic FX plugin.
- Please login to robpapen.com and visit 'My Products' and open the download page.
- Download the latest eXplorer-9 installer, it also holds other fixes next to the new UniMagic.
- Alternative you also can scroll down on the download page and download the single installer of UniMagic. During install, use your eXplorer-9 serial once the installer does ask for it.
- Always close the music program ahead of running the installer!!
- Mac users, please reboot your system after running the eXplorer-9 installer(s)
- In case of issues, please create a support ticket.

E-MU 'Techno Synth Construction Yard' and 'Beat Garden' |
Around 2000 Rob created two very successful ROM cards for the E-MU Proteus-2000 range , which are now available once more here!
The Proteus-2000 range of modules had the famous Z-plane Filter inside a 128-voice synth with sampled waves and loads of routing possibilities, and these features Rob Papen used of course!
The ‘Techno Synth Construction Yard’ and ‘Beat Garden’ ROM’s were also combined inside the rare E-MU Orbit-3 module. You can listen to the demo songs of the Orbit-3 here on YouTube.
These E-MU modules are still used in many studios, and these ROM cards are compatible with different E-MU modules and keyboards. So in case you haven’t yet expanded your E-MU device with the Rob Papen ROMs then check out all the information below.
