Here at ReBelle, April is a month bursting with creativity and the promise of new beginnings. As the days grow longer and the weather becomes more inviting, Spring is the perfect time to dive into your passion for knitting, crochet, and all things fiber arts. Whether you're crafting under the gentle glow of spring sunshine or still snug indoors, April offers endless inspiration for your projects.
We are kicking off the season this Saturday as we celebrate Local Yarn Store day with a special Pop-Up with Stephanie of Deep Dyed Yarns. Here's to a month filled with creativity, community, and, of course, lots of yarn! Happy crafting!

For those of you who like to knit or crochet on the go, the Lemonwood Mini Minder stylishly holds your yarn either from your wrist or from your bag, right where you need it while you work. We just got a restock of Lemonwood with a few new items and lots of new original minder designs.
Introducing the Color Block Basic B Mini Minders. These clear acrylic Mini Minders feature colorful bases and spindles that you can mix-and-match to create custom pieces with your favorite colors. As with the originals, each Minder comes with a leather strap and a cotton dust bag.
For those looking to use their minders at home instead of on-the-go, we have the Lemonwood Whirl! The Whirl adds even more versatility to your Mini Minder allowing it to become one of the smoothest yarn spinners on the market. Simply stick your Mini Minder in, twist for extra stability, unclip the strap, and start stitching!
We also have 13 new styles of the original Mini Minders in the shop and the minder hooks that can be used to hang the minders (or other things such as project bags) from tables or ledges.

One of the most exciting events this month is Local Yarn Store Day, a celebration of the vibrant community and the unique shops that support our beloved crafts. Mark your calendars for April 25th, when yarn stores across the nation will open their doors wide, offering special yarns, exclusive patterns, and a chance to connect with fellow yarn lovers.
This year we are celebrating with an in-shop pop-up with Stephanie of Deep Dyed Yarns! For those of you not familiar with her yarns, Stephanie is known for her beautiful saturated colorways, dyed right up the street in Nicholasville, Ky. Her colors are the perfect companion for your cozy fall projects. You have probably seen her Good Juju and Figment yarns in the shop, but this is your chance to see even more- more colors, more yarn types, more of everything!!
We have a few special kits out in the shop for LYS day as well as giveaways and pattern codes from Blue Sky Fibers, Berroco, Cascade, Skacel, Malabrigo, and a new LYS Day Design from Casapinka. Thank you for 20 wonderful years, we are privileged to be your local yarn shop!

As in past years, each person will pick their own pattern to make and we will all work on them together learning about different yarns and construction styles as we go. Robyn created a Ravelry bundle with several pattern ideas for both knit and crochet if you need some help finding the perfect pattern. We are also available in the shop if you need help finding a pattern for a particular yarn.

Non-Cooperative Brick
Sometimes, you just need to throw something. But safety first! Hannah Roderick’s Non-Cooperation brick is just the ticket and a great way to use up stash. Knit from any weight yarn, you’ll learn how to knit to specific dimensions, rather than following a standard pattern and how to reinforce your knitting to make firmer, more structured shapes.
Bring yarn and needles that are 1 or 2 sizes smaller than your yarn suggests to knit a firm fabric. This is a beginner-friendly project- if you can knit and purl, you can make a brick!

Doodle Knits
This class will show you how to use the Doodle Knit Patterns by Jamie Lomax of Pacific Knit Co. Everything about this class will be customizable. You will start by choosing a base pattern from the Doodle Knits book, deck, or the patterns available individually on Ravelry. You will then select from the individual motifs or motif collections (also available in the book, in the decks, or on Ravelry) and mix and match them to create your perfect garment. There are lots of options including cowls, scarves, hats, stockings, mittens, a headband, or a coffee cup cozy. In this class, we’ll learn how to plug in her fun little motifs, a little color theory, and how to use her designs with other patterns. This class is an excellent introduction to stranded colorwork, but will also be a fun adventure for more advanced knitters.
