Paul Simon Announces New Tour Plans
In Europe, the UK and Ireland This Spring 2026

The legendary singer-songwriter continues
"A Quiet Celebration Tour,"
an intimate concert series featuring his Grammy-nominated album Seven Psalms, and a celebration of his timeless classics

”a beautiful benediction for one of America’s defining songwriters… take any chance you get to see him again."
 - Los Angeles Times

"the songwriter delivered a remarkable performance that mixed hits and deep cuts with a complete performance of his 2023 LP Seven Psalms......a victory lap for one of the greatest songwriters of the past century."
- Rolling Stone

“Simon is a master storyteller …Simon’s 11-piece backing band — was exceptional. Their immaculate and uncluttered arrangements and new interpretations of old songs brought out the best in Simon’s voice and lyrics. "
- Worcester Telegram

"The concert was a masterly artful presentation of the rich mosaic of Simon material."
Minneapolis Star Tribune

“The entire evening was magic. It displayed sheer musicianship from Simon and his accompanying band that included guitars, strings, percussion and woodwind instruments. As the tour name suggested, it was a quiet approach to showmanship, lacking the antics of the modern-day, pop-fueled concerts… Simon’s performance was majestic and vulnerable.”
St Louis Post Dispatch

“Paul Simon may have broken the record for standing ovations Wednesday night at Symphony Center. ...this year’s A Quiet Celebration tour is…  a triumphant return”
- Chicago Sun Times

There’s a fragility and honesty combined with humour and charm… Simon’s A Quiet Celebration Tour may describe the tone of his two-hour-and-20-minute show — ...but it doesn’t really do justice to the genuinely moving…career-spanning performance that unfolds.”
- Toronto Sun

a night of magic…. “A Quiet Celebration” …was a sublime evening that celebrated one of the all-time best.“
Toronto Star

"The entire evening was a triumphant return to live performance .... a master class in how to do it right… The instrumentation was always surprising and perfectly suited to the material...It was taut and beautiful...Paul Simon is a class act."
Vancouver Sun

December 11, 2025 – Today the legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon announced he will continue  "A Quiet Celebration Tour," following a highly successful and critically acclaimed US tour, and bring this intimate concert series to Europe, the UK and Ireland this Spring 2026.

The show opens with the performance of the Grammy nominated masterpiece Seven Psalms. This beautiful 33 minute continuous piece of music was heralded by the press worldwide - the Guardian called it “a masterful suite” and Times of London “a remarkable album.”  After a brief intermission, the show continues with many of Simon’s classic hits and some rarely, if ever, performed pieces, all lovingly and newly arranged specifically for this tour.

Seven Psalms was recorded on entirely acoustic instruments and performed predominantly by Paul.  Simon often says the listener completes the song, and he was eager to expand the experience into the live forum by performing this intricately layered work in intimate rooms with pristine acoustics.

The European tour will begin on April 9 in Prague, Czech Republic and travel throughout Europe and the UK, concluding in Dublin, Ireland on May 20. The band will include:
Mark Stewart (guitar), Bakithi Kumalo (bass), Steve Gadd (drums), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Mick Rossi (piano, keys), Gyan Riley (guitar), Nancy Stagnitta (flute), Caleb Burhans (viola) and Eugene Friesen (Cello).
