TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.41% at 1,374,483. Metallic Products (+3.64%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Textile (-1.96%). Automotive (+2.11%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 14,766 billion (approx. USD 56 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ +1.49%) Mellat Bank (BMLT +3.93%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +1.24%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Barekat Pharmaceutical Group (BRKT -4.32%) was the most traded stock with IRR 3,480 billion (approx. USD 13 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 105,226 billion (approx. USD 405 million), down 3% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 68,591 for a gain of 1.96%. The biggest riser was SAIPA Group (SIPA +4.55%) while Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ -0.17%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 23,943 billion (approx. USD 92 million), down 1% from the previous trading session. |
