TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.34% at 159,490. Base Metals (+5.16%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Paper Products (-4.61%). Base Metals (+5.16%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 1,148 billion (approx. USD 27 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +8.01%) National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI +4.57%) and Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem. Ind. Co. (PTAP +3.17%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +8.01%) was the most traded stock with IRR 419 billion (approx. USD 9.9 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 5,386 billion (approx. USD 128 million), up 23% from the previous trading session.
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 7,818 for a gain of 2.44%. The biggest riser was Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co.
